Sometimes we get in our own way, just like how opening the oven will release heat which then slows the cooking of your pizza, fretting and worrying can do the same thing. The key is to let the law of attraction work for you by getting out of it’s way. After you have done your visualizations and other exercises, you need to cut loose and allow your self some fun, in doing so you will forget about your goal temporarily which is actually a very good thing.
During this time of relaxation your unconscious mind is doing the work it couldn’t do while you were worrying and doubting yourself. When you shift your attention, you then create a happy and relieved feeling, similar to the state you will be in when your goal is achieved, this attracts the goal itself. So, after you have done your due diligence, relax, shift gears, give someone a hug, for you and they deserve it.
You must, and I mean you absolutely must let go of the past of you want the law of attraction to work in your favor. I’m not talking about forgetting, I’m talking about forgiving. If you don’t and you continue to re live painful past memories in your mind, guess what will happen? You guessed it, you will continue to create the same painful memories over and over. Again, you don’t have to erase past memories which can be useful from a learning from the past perspective, you simply have to forgive, that is the key. To no longer hold a grudge or be affected emotionally.
One way to get to this point is to forgive yourself for any shortcomings you’ve been beating yourself up for, then begin to forgive others, it can be like removing an anchor from your left leg and start running free.
You can forgive others in person, on the phone, via email etc… or just in your mind if that is all you wish to do, but make sure you mean it.
Why do it even when some days seem crummy? Because everyday is an amazing blessing. When you are thankful for what you already have you are increasing your gratitude, which in turn attracts more abundance into your life. So every day you have the opportunity to practice the law of attraction by appreciating what is already working.
Start the morning by drinking a glass of water and being humbly thankful for such a pure supply of water, go for a walk and be thankful your legs that work so well. Eat breakfast and be thankful for an abundant food supply, it wasn’t long ago in human history where having mere calories to consume made us hominids overjoyed.
Then become thankful that you have shelter today. If you can become sincerely thankful for even these simple things, right then you will begin attracting more abundance, but it will be more of the simpler kind. To begin to channel this thankfulness into more advanced things that you do not yet have, do the following.
Think of the one thing or condition that makes you the most grateful, get a strong hold on how this makes you feel, if you have to remember that’s fine as long as you can create a strong feeling of thanks in your mind. Then use the same feeling to be thankful for the thing or condition you do not yet have, be thankful as though it has already happened.
This title sounds like a paradox doesn’t it? I mean if you live in abundance then you should have plenty right? Yes you will, by understanding this paradox. If you are always spending less money than you earn, then you are in the process of becoming wealthy. Then as time goes on you are increasing your wealth and abundance gradually overtime. This wealth helps you get even wealthier as little emergencies don’t cause you to use your credit card or panic if you don’t have one.
Saving 10% is a good method mentioned by countless others. You save 10% of EVERY dollar you earn, period. For some who are used to living within or even beyond thier means this will sound difficult, but you simply have to do it if you want to become wealthy. You will find the bills still get paid if you are careful.
This is a practical exercise that will help you have an overall attitude that attracts abundance because as you build your wealth you will have peace of mind that breeds confidence and positive thinking.
When you are looking for a job, fear is an enemy that rears it’s ugly head. You may not think you are in fear but analyze why a job interview is so nerve wracking. There is a clingy and grasping feeling that says “I better get this one…ohhh c’mon”. This comes from a fear of rejection and is very primal to our nature. But for the most part it is misplaced. We live in a very dynamic economy in the developed and even developing economies, opportunities can and do spring up all of the time.
So, how to we use the secret or the law of attraction to our advantage in job seeking? Get out a pen and paper. Then write down all of the things you want from your new job, keep it relatively short with a few very specific qualities. Then write down the virtues you have and want your new employer to appreciate you for. After these two lists are done, relax and imagine what it’s like now that you have this job, imagine being apprenticed for your performance and work ethic. Then send some resumes and make some calls with a cheerful attitude. Later, do this exercise before bed, then again in the morning until you succeed.
Keep your list to remind you of what to meditate on.
How do you attract a negative? You don’t. It’s that simple, the law of attraction and the secret can only be used in a “positive” way. Even though the things you attract may not be positive at all.
To rid yourself of poverty you need to attract wealth, to rid yourself of sickness you need to attract health.You have to focus on what is is you want to attract and let that guide your imagination. Your imagination steers the ship. This is why it’s up you to take good care of your imagination and make sure you are focused on what is positive and good for all including you.
Here is an exercise that someone told me once that I found to be very useful. The purpose is to build confidence using memories of past events. While many of us replay negative failure memories over an over, there are also success memories that you can use to your advantage.
You start with a pen an piece of paper, you can type but I feel the pen and paper make it more real. Think of something you did successfully yesterday, even if all you can get is “woke up and made it to work, or emailed resume to 10 possible jobs and made 3 followup calls” anything you can say you positively accomplished. Then go back one day, one week, one month, a year, a decade.
The further you go back you will be able to find larger and larger successes. What this will show you is that you have a track record of success, this will aid you in the law of attraction as your attitude will reflect a more successful you and you will attract success and abundance into your life. Probably the most important part of using the law of attraction for success is changing your mind. That is the secret to attracting abundance and success. By changing your mind I mean changing your perception which in turn changes and sculpts your reality. Most of us have many limiting beliefs, many of which we are unaware of in the present moment. Usually a success oriented book or program will have you go through mental exercises that will help you identify the limiting beliefs. This is very powerful as many times simply understanding the limiting belief gives you all you need to defeat it. But this process can be time consuming and painful.
When you use hypnosis properly and carefully you can bypass and replace existing limiting beliefs, sometimes with rapid speed. While it’s not a cure all it can be used very successfully to attract abundance and success into your life. But you have to stick with it allowing the initial subtle changes to motivate you to continue.
You do not have to fall asleep for the suggestions to work, you simply relax and allow for the possibility that the statements spoken by the hypnotist are true. Over time your thinking will change and you will be automatically using the law of attraction for a life of abundance.

We gotta stick with the program if we want results. It’s as simple as that. One trap some of us self helpers can fall into is looking for the next solution that will magically change everything. If your like me you have tons of books CDs mp3 that all showed great promise and you might even recommend them to you friends. But did these programs produce results? Well that is up to you, you are the solution that will magically change everything.
So as a general rule, any time you buy a book or cd, start using affirmations or afformations. Stick with it for 21 days in a 30 day period. This formula comes from Maxwell Maltz’s Psycho-Cybernetics and seems like a good way to stick with a program while allowing time for a breather when you need it.
