We gotta stick with the program if we want results. It’s as simple as that. One trap some of us self helpers can fall into is looking for the next solution that will magically change everything. If your like me you have tons of books CDs mp3 that all showed great promise and you might even recommend them to you friends. But did these programs produce results? Well that is up to you, you are the solution that will magically change everything.
So as a general rule, any time you buy a book or cd, start using affirmations or afformations. Stick with it for 21 days in a 30 day period. This formula comes from Maxwell Maltz’s Psycho-Cybernetics and seems like a good way to stick with a program while allowing time for a breather when you need it.

Meditation is a powerful tool for your success. There are basically two types of meditation.
Passive Meditation
Passive meditation clears the mind so one can be free of the mental chatter that clouds thought and impairs sound judgment. For many meditators this is the only meditation they ever practice.
Creative Meditation
Creative meditation is important for using the law of attraction but starts with passive meditation. First one must relax and clear the mind. Any method that can get you relaxed, calm and comfortable is a good start. Then you must relax for a while, this simply cannot be rushed, rushed thinking is the opposite of what you are trying to achieve. Once you feel calm and relaxed you can begin to do creative visualization to create your reality.
There is an abundance of great meditation music, my favorite is composed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson.

In The Book “The Art & Practice of Creative Visualization” By Ophiel, there is a chapter called “the sphere of availability”. It’s an important concept to understand when you are in the process of creating favorable life circumstances. Simply put, the concept is that for optimal results, start with items and circumstances that are more readily available at first then build toward a goal. In the aforementioned chapter a story is told of a old time dumpster diver in Paris who becomes a wealthy man.
He was taught to creatively visualize by someone versed in secret traditions. Unlike my first attempts and maybe yours as well the first thing he manifested was a carpet so when he awoke in the morning his feet would not be so cold. He visualized for the rug and the next day he got one from someone disposing of a rug. This of course gave him the confidence to move on to the next item, and the next until he was financially well off.
The key here is that the more available the thing or circumstance is the quicker and easier it is to manifest. Let’s say for instance you want to be wealthy, I will make a simple example of how to create a wealthy life, this is not to say I have done this or that it is easy, but the lesson has applied to my success and countless others as well.
1. Start or acquire a business.
2. Build the business into a real powerhouse.
3. Sell the business for millions.
4. No more coupons.
I know, I know, easer said than done. And I’m not saying someone who has mastered creative visualization couldn’t just create step 4 of this plan. But I am saying that this concept can be extremely valuable in building your skill and thus arriving at your goal.
