Here’s a good post by law-of-attraction-info.com on how important feelings are. Feelings are a major component in the attraction machine. In a sense you must feel as though it’s already accompleshed to achieve a desired result.

Confidence is the ablity to confide in one’s self. The knowledge that you either already have what it takes or will improvise a solution. Of course some take this too far with overconfidence. Most of us have a problem with under confidence. The key is to be humble yet capable, to prepare and yet even after preparation remain open to the possibility that there is still more to learn.
Confidence allows us to move when others are too afraid. The greatest enemy of confidence is fear, when fear confronts confidence it presents itself as a little voice that says “Ohhh you’re gonna bomb that interview, I knew it, you’d better go for an easier to get job.” This is a good time to use a technique taught by NLP co inventor Richard Bandler.
When the little voice of fear get’s in the way of your confidence, silently say to yourself in a calm but firm manner:
SHUT
THE
“Bleep” (least offensive or most depending on taste.)
UP
Remain calm and watch your confidence grow while the little voice of fear retreats into it’s cave.
The Law of Attraction in it’s simplest form basically states “you get what you think about” you get what you focus on good or bad. Many will say “Hey I think about stuff, circumstances, and people all the time that aren’t in my life, how is this possible?”. To this I reply that usually a fantasy day daydream is interrupted by or concluded with thoughts along the line of “yeah wouldn’t that be nice” or “and then you woke up” . This is not focusing on what you want but rather focusing on the “fact” that you don’t have and cannot have the circumstances you want because they are so different from where you are now.
To begin to use attraction in a way works in your favor, you must begin to notice how close you are to your goal, begin focusing on what is working for you and improve upon that. Of course sometimes bad habits are in the way and they must be dealt with, but not by focusing on the bad habit or thought pattern.
To use the law of attraction in your favor you must leave bad habits and negative thought patterns behind, by replacing them with new ones. There are many many books on the law of attraction, most are well worth reading. You do not need to read the books to learn attraction, but the constant reminding to stay focused is surely helped by reading books on the subject.
Here are a few good ones:
Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t
The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham
Meditation is a powerful tool for your success. There are basically two types of meditation.
Passive Meditation
Passive meditation clears the mind so one can be free of the mental chatter that clouds thought and impairs sound judgment. For many meditators this is the only meditation they ever practice.
Creative Meditation
Creative meditation is important for using the law of attraction but starts with passive meditation. First one must relax and clear the mind. Any method that can get you relaxed, calm and comfortable is a good start. Then you must relax for a while, this simply cannot be rushed, rushed thinking is the opposite of what you are trying to achieve. Once you feel calm and relaxed you can begin to do creative visualization to create your reality.
There is an abundance of great meditation music, my favorite is composed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson.
We live in a world of constant bad news even in good times. Now that the economy is clearly in for a rough unknown number of years, it is very important that we make a doubled effort to stay positive. While it’s good to stay informed, look at the news media as junk food that needs to be limited so that our psyches remain intact.
Find at least one book or audio book on positive thinking and read it every week/month depending on your reading time. We’re not talking about denial here, rough times do happen, but your attitude does play a large role in the final outcomes of your life. Here is a good book for making sure you stay on the wagon. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
This Great Little book takes a unique view on affirmations. It basically turns them upside down into a question form. This presupposes the desired condition. So instead of “I am wealthy” we say “Why am I so wealthy.” I have to say I feel much better doing it this way.
Setting goals is one of the most important things you can do to achieve success. The fewer goals you have the better, too many goals will spread you too thin and unable to achieve at a high level. According to Napoleon Hill the key to succeeding at anything is to have a singular goal combined with a burning desire for it’s achievement. When these two things are combined the speed at which success comes can almost be scary, but don’t be scared ha ha.
Once during the great depression of the 1930’s a contest for $10,000 dollars was held, this is more like $100,000 or more in today’s money. The contest’s goal was to find the best way to “get things done”. The winning entry had a very simple formula:
1. Write down the 10 most important goals.
2. Start with number 1 and work your way to number 10.
3. Repeat.
This very simple formula illustrates how having set goals eliminates procrastination, the arch-enemy of success.
Happiness is truly a state of mind and nothing more. You can achieve happiness right now by simply choosing to be happy. This can be a very tough thing to accept when we’re down in the dumps, but that doesn’t stop it from being true. By accepting responsibility for our happiness we become powerful enough to create happiness in our lives.
But from a law of attraction perspective, choosing to be happy creates and attracts more and more happiness into your reality. When you decide “I’m gonna be happy” and keep your thoughts on being happy you are manifesting happiness in your awareness, you will begin to notice more and more things to be happy about.
The more you do this the more happy you will become, and the more reasons you will have to be happy. Stay focused.
Wealth is much much more than money, although typically a wealthy person has an abundance money if they choose to. Wealth really is an abundance of ability and opportunity as well as growth to keep the stream of ability and opportunity going. Social wealth is achieved by an ability to make friends combined with opportunities to do so. Financial wealth is achieved by an ability to make, keep, and grow money combined with opportunities to do so.
Growing your wealth is an essential element in wealth creation. You must continue to grow or your wealth becomes stagnant and begins to ebb. This does not mean workaholisim, just keep at it a little every day, most of the time.
